STATEMENT by the Permanent Representative of Georgia to the OSCE at the Permanent Council regarding the 66th round of the Geneva International Discussions
On 26 March 2026, the Permanent Representative of Georgia to the OSCE, Ambassador Alexander Maisuradze, delivered a statement at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council regarding the 66th round of the Geneva International Discussions.
In his statement, the Permanent Representative stressed the importance of the Geneva International Discussions. He placed particular emphasis on the necessity of the full implementation by the Russian Federation of its international obligations under the EU-mediated 12 August 2008 Ceasefire Agreement and the safe and dignified return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and refugees to their homes, as well as, the importance of the regular functioning of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanisms (IPRM).
