Dear friends,

 

Welcome to the website of the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Austria accredited to OSCE and International Organisations in Vienna. 

 

Georgia and the Republic of Austria share close bilateral relations based on common European values and interests. Our countries have more than 30 years of diplomatic relations. We deeply appreciate Austria’s steadfast support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its support for Georgia’s European aspirations. Austria is a reliable partner of Georgia. 

 

Our mission is to strengthen and deepen friendship, political dialogue, economic, cultural, and academic cooperation between Georgia and Austria, and to protect the interests of Georgian citizens living or temporarily staying in Austria. 

 

Vienna is an important international center where global security and cooperation issues are discussed. The Permanent Representation of Georgia actively participates in the OSCE and other international organizations to protect national interests of Georgia and strengthen international cooperation. 

 

I would like to express gratitude once again to the Austrian government and people for their friendship and support, and to all organizations and partners with whom we cooperate to achieve common goals.
